2001-current - Assist in writing grants and file ISBE grant reports and prep reports for GATA
2014-current - Business Manager - AP, AR, GL, POs, Investments, Tax Levy, Budget, Special Ed reporting, monthly/quarterly/yearly District/State/Federal finance reports, annual District audit, annual EBF, Site-Based & Transportation reports, FMLA reporting, District Insurance reporting and Medicaid FFS & Outreach reporting.
I have a total of 35 years of accounting/payroll experience in an educational setting. Four years at the University of South Florida, seven years at the Belvidere School District and 24 years at South Beloit.
I have been married for 35 years and I have two beautiful daughters. My oldest is a CPA/Manager with Baker Tilly and works in governmental auditing. My youngest is a Scientist for a laboratory in Wisconsin performing cell-based bioassays for stability drug products and currently is reviewing them for quality control. My husband is in his 31st year as a science teacher at Roscoe Middle School and continues coaching 8th boys basketball and JH Track. He will retire in June 2023 after 35 years of teaching/coaching.
